Samut Prakan City is powering-up the front line with our latest signing: former "Thunder Castles" star striker Pedro Júnior who’ll now charge the net in the 2020 season wearing "Sea Fang" kit!
SPC head coach Masatada Ishii revealed the transfer of Brazilian forward Pedro Júnior from Khor Fakkan, a well-known team in the highest division of the United Arab Emirates. The new "Sea Fang" attacker said it is an exciting move coming to the club to be reunited with "Coach Ishii" after previously working together at Kashima Antlers in 2017-18 which included winning the AFC Champions League continental club competition. Moreover, he aims to validate his skill in Thailand’s top league once more and help take Samut Prakan City higher up the ranks this season!
Born in Brazil on January 29, 1987, Pedro Júnior is now 32 and has gained loads of experience playing throughout Asia at clubs like Omiya Ardija, Albirex Niigata, Gamba Osaka, FC Tokyo, Jeju United, Vissel Kobe, then Kashima Antlers before his move in 2018 to Wuhan Zall in the Chinese Super League. In 2019, he joined Buriram United for the first leg and transferred to Khor Fakkan Club of the UAE's first division for the second leg.
